The band had an enjoyable afternoon at the beer & hymns event at St John's Church, Nevilles Cross, Durham today. Despite the sudden heavy shower, the congregation were in fine voice.
Today was also the first job for Harry, who has joined the band on Bass Trombone. We hope he has a long and happy future with us.
Tonight has seen the Band performed a fabulous concert alongside guest soloist Jamie Beeston, Principal Euphonium of the NASUWT Riverside Band, and the choir from Pittington Primary School to raise money for the Together Forever Trust. We played a wide variety of entertaining music to please all ages in the audience.
Tonight also saw the debut performance for Jill Johnson who has recently joined the Band on 2nd Trombone.
We would also like to say a big thank you to all of the borrowed players who helped out at the concert (Steve, Jimmy, Adam, Jenny and Ed). We really appreciate your help. To view the images and the videos from the concert, click Read More
