The Band undertook a tour of Switzerland this week as guests of Fanfare Echo de la Dent Blanche. This has been the most amazing week as we have played 4 concerts, including a concert in Montreux playing at the Freddie Mercury statue on the shore of Lake Geneva, and one as a joint concert with Echo de la Dent Blanche. This was an unforgettable concert.
Also at this concert, the Band finally met Angelo Bearpark, a Cornet Player from Yorkshire now living in Switzerland. Angelo has been in contact with the Band through the website and had tried to arrange to meet us for a couple of years now. We finally got together at the joint concert and he was asked if he wanted to play to which he said yes. Michael then asked him if he would like to perform in our concert wearing our Band uniform, Angelo jumped at the chance. It was a great moment and we hope to meet up with Angelo again in the future.
Thanks to Daniel, we took in lots of tours with our feet not touching the ground on most occasions - it was nonstop but it was a superb experience.

The Band would like to thank all of our guest players who were great over the week and really became part of our Band. Also, we would like to thank our Coach Drivers, we could not of asked for a better pair of drivers for our tour, who also became part of our Band for the week.
Also, our Band Mascot, Pause (Top Left Corner), had the most fantastic week with lots of photos taken everywhere. Pause even had his Passport stamped on his return to the UK. Click here to see Pause's Adventures in Switzerland (these are the first set of images on the page).
